GTalk/Jabber – Staying up to date when you’re offline

If you’re chatting through gtalk/jabber and you go offline, you will automatically get a message from each group with a link to see missed messages from when you log back on. If there were no missed messages, Chatterous won’t bother you. Cool stuff!

I’ve tried this out – got two GTalk accounts on the same group, logged one out, posted a message with the other. When I logged back in with the other it didn’t send a message saying there had been any more conversation.

Ah, apologies, belay that comment – it sent the message now, there was just a 5 minute delay.
